With this disease called Vitiligo, the patients begin to developing the white patches on the skin which then vary in size and location. These white patches appear on the skin when the pigment cells or melanocytes get destroyed and then these pigment cells stop being produced. These melanocytes usually happen all over the skin, hair, mouth and around eyes.
