Vitiligo is a skin disorder generated by the loss of the pigment cells in the skin, these are called melanocytes.This disease affects around one to two percent of the world population. If the person has more dark age, the vitiligo spots would appear more but the ones who have brighter skin, the vitiligo spots appear less. The appearance of vitiligo shows off more in those countries where the majority of the population has darker skin like in India.
